Culinary delights in the mountains
“Mmm…” it’s simply good
At the Aktivhotel Panorama, we cook with passion for people who love good food as much as we do. Our cuisine is inspired by traditional favourites, old family recipes, and new cooking trends. Whenever possible, we cook with the best from the region. The herbs all come from Pflerschtal. We also source other products directly from producers in our valley when we can. This way, we can be sure that we get fresh, seasonal, and superb products – without excessive food miles.
Coffee is prepared at eight in the morning. However, upon request, we can serve it from 6 a.m. If you want to start your day even earlier, we can prepare you a snack for your skiing or hiking tour – just ask! Everyone else can look forward to a delicious breakfast buffet with us that offers everything the heart desires: jams from the pantry, eggs from the neighbouring farm, crispy bread, fresh juices, Italian salami, South Tyrolean mountain cheese, sheep milk yoghurt and sheep milk cheese from the Steinmessnerhof farm, and much more!
Dinner: 4-course menu
An exciting day on holiday deserves a crowning conclusion. As part of a half-board stay, we serve a 4-course menu in the evening. Choose between two starters and two main courses. A vegetarian alternative is always available, too. Enjoy your meal! Or, as we like to say here: “An Guatn!”
Hungry for more?
We regularly organise various themed culinary evenings such as gala dinners with an aperitif, a Tyrolean evening, or a barbecue party. Enjoy the moment and let the flavours melt in your mouth!
Short transport routes, long partnerships
It is vital to us that we source as many products as we can directly from Pflerschtal. Not only do these contain pure, natural ingredients grown in the region, but above all, they embody passion and honest values. Respect for animals, community support, and a rejection of excessive food miles and packaging. We do our best to support local farmers in the valley as we have personal, long-standing partnerships with them.
Herbs from Pflerschtal
Did you know that Pflerschtal is known for its exceptional herbs? The different altitudes and soil conditions of the herb gardens create the best conditions for the plants. Dishes with fresh herbs that come from the mountains and grow with good mountain air taste ten times better – at least, we think so!
Sheep milk yoghurt and cheese from the Steinmessnerhof farm
Forty East Friesian dairy sheep live on the Steinmessnerhof farm and produce a total of 50 litres of milk every day. Sheep farmer Reinhold Eisendle processes this milk into yoghurt, fresh cheese, and semi-hard cheese. You can then enjoy the sheep milk specialities at our breakfast buffet and in our dishes!
